Root canal treatment may be carried out over a series of appointments.
Appointment 1: Under local anaesthesia and microscopic viewing, a root canal filling is performed to remove the pulp from the infected tooth. We’ll then clean the root canals and get them ready for the filling.
Once the root canal has been filled with a special material known as gutta-percha, we may need to restore your tooth with a larger filling or dental crown.
